My keynote speech about the often overlooked value of nuclear physicists (May 2026, UK)
In my 15+ years of academic research I've given more than 30 talks at a wide range of events. I've spoken in front of audiences ranging from 10-20 people at seminars for the general public to 400-500 people at large international conferences and workshops.
Core message
Almost everything around us is much more complex than it seems from the first sight. Whatever topic you pick, the more you learn about it, the more you realise how simplified your idea of it has been, and how wrong some of your conclusions would be if you never questioned your assumptions.
I am convinced that even though the modern pace of the world supports the philosophy of "move fast and break things", there is great value in spending the time to understand the underlying nature and see the big picture before moving fast. Breaking things loses most of its value without a measured thought-out approach that scientific methods are famous for.
I'm happy to talk about topics at the intersection of business, technology and user experience, always following a structured scientific approach in my message.
